Summer is finally here! I love changing my wardrobe every season but it’s important to keep some essential pieces each season. I want to share some ‘must have’ pieces for this summer. Let’s start with summer shorts! I love a good pair of shorts and these ones are high rise and so comfortable! You can pair them it with a tank top, cami, or a basic tee. It gets quite hot here in the Bay area so these shorts are great for those super hot days! The ones I’m wearing are the medium destroy and they run true to size. A classic white tee is another summer essential – it’s so versatile. It can be paired with almost anything! This particular one is so soft and stretchy and it comes in various color options. I’ve paired it with some great slides from Target.
Next up is the quintessential t-shirt dress. I have a few of these in various colors and patterns. I particularly liked this striped one from Target. It’s so light and summery. It’s great for a beach day or any casual event. The dress runs true to size and I’m wearing the cream color, but it has orange stripes. You can pair with some summer sandals, I love this new style from Target. It’s a different take on summer thongs and I love a white sandal. I also love to take my denim jacket with me for the cooler evenings that follow.
Jeans may not always be on top of your mind during summer but I love a crisp white jean! It’s great for summer and can even be used during Spring time as well. This pair is from Abercrombie and Fitch and it’s so comfortable and stretchy. It goes great with a tank top, white tee, or even a casual button down. This shirt is also from Abercrombie and Fitch and it’s so light and airy. It comes in a few color options. The one I’m wearing is light green stripped but you can hardly see the green. I’ve tucked the jeans for a casual look and paired it with my favorite Tory Burch Miller sandals. They come in so many colors and patterns. They run slightly big so I would suggest sizing up by 1/2 size. I’m wearing the color light makeup.
Lastly, how can I not talk about a midi/maxi dress! I have a ton of maxi dresses and have been getting into midi dresses lately. I just loved adding this coral piece to my collection from Target. The dressing screams summer, it flows so nicely and it even has pockets (need I say more)! It comes in a few color options and runs slightly big. I’ve paired with these nude wedges, another summer favorite, and rattan crossbody bag. This crossbody bag is so adorable, it can paired with other maxi dresses, t-shirt dress or the white jeans! It’s a great summer staple!
