It’s finally the holidays! I was so ecstatic to start decorating for the holidays, we can all use some sparkle in our lives right about now. We decided to stay with our silver and blue color theme.
It’s important to start off by expanding each and every branch on the tree, this helps to give it a fuller look. Then I add the ribbons. You can loop the ribbons throughout the tree or go from top to bottom. You can do this first since it can be harder to do after putting up the ornaments. This is my favorite part, adding the ornaments! I love to do this with my husband as a family, it’s so much fun!
I like to mix up the sizes of the ornaments to add variation to the tree. We’ve started to collect a few different ornaments over the past few years so it’s really nice when we put it up together and reminisce.
Next add in any stems and clip on ornaments. Ensure to insert the branches in empty areas. Now take a look at the tree in it’s entirety and make sure you are happy with how it looks. Feel free to make any adjustments at this time. Once you are completely happy with the look add the tree topper and tree skirt.
Below is what the final tree looks like. I hope these tips have been helpful to make your tree look fuller.
